RAMBAN, Apr 12: A missing septuagenarian was found dead under snow at high altitude Mangith Top area of Khodander, falling under the jurisdiction of Banihal Police Station.
As per police sources, some local boys spotted a dead body of a male buried under snow at high altitude Mangith Top area of Khodander and informed the police.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Nayak (70) of Mahoo Tehsil Khari, District Ramban. The deceased was missing for the fast four months as told by his son.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regard.
