Missing woman reunited with family by Vijaypur Police

SAMBA, May 29: A mentally disturbed woman from village Sarsote, tehsil Mahore, district Reasi who had mistakenly reached  district Samba was today reunited with her family members by District Police Samba.
A police party of PS Vijaypur, while on routine patrolling duty in the area, found a woman roaming in village Patti under the jurisdiction of P/S Vijaypur. Being mentally unstable, the woman was unable to disclose her name and other residential particulars except that she is from district Reasi.
Finding no clue about the whereabouts of the family members of missing woman, SHO PS, Vijaypur contacted his counterpart at district Reasi and after hectic efforts, police succeeded in tracing out her family members who were called at PS Vijaypur to identify the lady.
The  lady has been identified as  Biso Devi, W/o Mohan Singh, R/o village Sarsote, tehsil Mahore, district Reasi. After proper verification and completion of all legal formalities, the lady has been handed over to her family members.
The jubilant family members thanked the police for their effort. SSP Samba Anil Magotra, also appreciated the role of police party of PS Vijaypur in reuniting the woman with her family members.
