KATHUA, June 25: Basohli police traced out a missing woman from Ramnagar area of district Udhampur.
As per police sources, on June 9, a person identified as Bashir Ahmed of Bera, Tehsil Mahanpur lodged a missing complaint of his wife with police station Basohli.
Acting over the complaint, missing report vide DD No-9 dated June 9, 2016 was registered at police station Basohli and manhunt was launched to trace out the woman.
On specific inputs, a team from Basohli police station conducted raid in Ramnagar area of district Udhampur and recovered the missing lady.
After completing legal formalities, the woman was restored to family members.
Police team led by SHO Basholi Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary recovered the missing woman under the supervision of SDPO Basohli Shivinder Singh Jamwal and SSP Kathua Neeva Jain.
