JAMMU, May 8: The dead body of a missing woman was recovered today from an underground water tank here in Old Rehari area.
“Pawna Kumari (50) wife of Manohar Lal, resident of 145, Old Rehari, had gone missing some days back after which her family members had submitted a missing complaint at police post Rehari”, a police official said.
He said police officials and family members of the woman were searching her continuously and today her decomposed body was recovered from an underground water tank in a house in the neighbourhood of his residence.
“The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC initiated at concerned police station”, the official added.
