JAMMU, Dec 22: A youth who had been missing from his temporary residence here at Sidhra since yesterday evening, was found dead under Tawi bridge near Sidhra.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Ghulam Hassan Khan (22), son of Ramtullaha Khan, a resident of Phalgam (presently Sidhra in Jammu) had been missing since Sunday evening from his temporary residence and a missing report has been registered at police post Sidhra.
He said some locals today spotted the missing youth’s dead body under Tawi bridge near Sidhra and informed the police. On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
He said a case in this regard has been registered and investigations started to ascertain the reasons of his death.
