KATRA, Nov 23: A youth of Didi Bhangal in Katra, who was missing since November 20, was today found dead at Gunni Parthal, under mysterious circumstances.
Police said that dead body of Manjeet Singh (23 years), son of Manohar Singh, resident of Didi Bhangal, was found today at Gunni Parthal. He was missing since November 20.
The body was spotted by some locals and on receiving information in this regard, a team from Police Station Katra rushed to the spot and started investigation. After post mortem at CHC Katra, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Alleging that the youth was murdered, family members of the deceased have demanded thorough probe. A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
