UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: A youth missing for the last eight days, was today found hanging from a tree at a distance of around 2 kilometers from his house at Malhar.
According to the reports, Sahil Kumar (21), son of Lt Bodh Raj, resident of New Basti Malhar Udhampur, was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances. He was missing for the last eight days.
On being informed by some locals, SHO Rehambal Nishat Sumbria along with Police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to t District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Rehambal Police have initiated inquest proceeding U/S 194/BNSS and started further investigation into the case.
