BANIHAL/RAMBAN, Nov 20: Chief patron, National Panthers’ Party (NPP), Prof Bhim Singh today said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has changed his stand on J&K issues considering its mission 44 in Kashmir as more important than national integration.
Addressing several election rallies in Banihal and Ramban constituencies, Prof Bhim Singh made heavy attacks on the double standard of BJP and betrayal by NC, PDP and the Congress.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is using the same language which Pakistan or the anti-national elements have been asking i.e. peoples’ aspirations. BJP candidates in Kashmir have even threatened to take up guns to save Article 370, he added.
Prof Bhim Singh said that the people of J&K have remained denied of fundamental rights in J&K constitution only because of the present shape of Article 370.  He said it is because of Article 370 that draconian laws have been made by J&K Assembly as Parliament is not competent to make any law for J&K.
Addressing a huge public rally in Ramban, Prof Bhim Singh said that militancy and terrorism in Kashmir and denial of civil rights to the 20 lakh refugees from Pakistan is the effect of Article 370.  He pleaded that Amendment in Article 370 to empower Parliament to make laws for J&K is the only solution.
Prof Bhim Singh also introduced Panthers Party candidates, Sewa Singh Bali (Banihal), and Suresh Kumar (SC) from Ramban and made a strong appeal to the voters to support and vote Panthers Party candidates for equity, justice, peace, harmony and secularism.
