Many times, it has been observed that the Government vehicles, particularly police, and army vehicles, and ambulances use sirens unnecessarily.
The unnecessary use of sirens not only creates noise pollution but also creates a sense of fear and panic in public.
No doubt, it is the duty of the public to make way for these vehicles, but it should also be ensured that public is not put to inconvenience. At times, constant honking may cause accidents or injuries to motorists and people.
The concerned authorities are requested to make judicious use of sirens for the sake of public. Hope authorities would pay attention to the suggestion.
