MUMBAI, Dec 10: A mixed trend was seen in the wholesale sugar prices today, traders at the Bombay Sugar Association (BSA) said.
Small and Medium grade sugar fell by Rs 2 and Rs 10 per quintal respectively on sluggish demand from stockists, traders said.
In ex-mill grade, Small grade sugar increased by Rs 20 per quintal on good demand, while Medium grade sugar remained flat on scattered demand,they added.
Sugar prices per quintal in Rupees are as follows:
Small grade Rs 2,866/ 3,022 ; Medium grade Rs 3,006/3232
Ex-mill: Small grade Rs 2,820/ 2,870 ; Medium grade Rs 2,960/3,150 (AGENCIES)
