MENDHAR, Nov 13: Alleging large scale irregularities and embezzlement of funds in execution of various developmental projects in Mendhar area, MLA Javed Rana, claimed to expose the nexus developed there.
Addressing public meeting at Bhata Durian today, the NC leader alleged that several interior road links undertaken under PMGSY and NABARD have been executed in a lackadaisical manner, throwing all norms to wind. He said some of the roads completed financially, are not even completed physically half of it.
He also demanded an enquiry into the implementation of PHE schemes in the area by a senior officer. He claimed that the schemes which were started several years ago are not even nearing completion today. During meeting, the local residents questioned the MLA how the boundary of the newly created Tehsil for which they fought, was arbitrarily changed. The MLA assured to take up the matter with the concerned authorities.
