DODA, Apr 21: Congress MLA from Inderwal constituency, Ghulam Mohd Saroori, today asked the people of his area to take full benefit of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes like NRHM, MGNREGA, PMGSY, IAY, RAMSA etc.
While speaking to the people during public grievances camps at Kandoth, Indralla, Heneja, Shorout, Chariya and Bhotana in tehsil Thathri today, Saroori said that people should take full advantage of the Centrally sponsored schemes. He said the Central Government was sending massive funds to the State for development and the public welfare. The MLA said that Central and the State Governments were committed for the development of the rural areas. He asked the Panchs and Sarpanchs to identify the problems of the people and work for their redressal.
Mr Saroori said that UPA Government was coming out with Food Security Bill to ensure ration to every citizen. He said that Government is committed for the socio-economic development of the rural people and to provide them all the basic facilities. The Congress MLA further asked the PMGSY department to expedite work on the roads undertaken in the area so that people could get benefit of the scheme.
ACD Doda Rakesh Kumar, Tehsildar Thathri, AEEs R&B, PDD and PHE also accompanied the MLA besides Station House Officer.
