MLA Bhaderwah holds public grievances redressal camp

BHADERWAH, May 7: To listen to the issues of the locals, MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar held a public grievances redressal camp at Puneja.
A large number of locals and those from adjoining areas attended the camp and projected their demands and issues.
The people of the area sought augmentation of drinking water supply, blacktopping of Thallela – Puneja road, construction of receiving station in the area, connecting road from Bhalara to Ghati More, opening of JK Bank Branch, Animal Husbandry Dispensary & PHC in the village, up-gradation of local High School to Higher Secondary level, adequate staff in the school and improvement of power supply.
Responding to the demands, the MLA assured that their issues would be redressed in a time bound manner. He issued on the spot directions to all the concerned, including Xen PHE, PDD for taking measures to improve water and electricity facilities.
MLA Bhaderwah also reviewed the pace of major ongoing works and took feedback from the locals. He urged the officers present in the camp to ensure timely completion of sanctioned works.
Earlier, MLA inaugurated 20 meter span Steel Motorable Bridge on Thallela Bhella Road constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.23. crore by PWD (R&B) Department.
MLA Bhaderwah also distributed LPG connections among women beneficiaries under the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).
