JAMMU, Jan 4: MLA Bishnah, Dr Rajeev Bhagat today emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the J&K administration has implemented a series of strategic initiatives and policies that have transformed the region. These initiatives have significantly reduced violence, fostered development opportunities, dismantled discriminatory provisions, strengthened grass root democracy, improved quality of life, and ensured fair representation. This was stated by MLA Dr Rajeev after inaugurating development works in different Panchayats including Pandorian, Laswara and Chack Avtara amounting to Rs.61.50 lakh to upgrade the living standards of the people by providing facilities at their door steps.
Dr Rajeev also highlighted the urgency of addressing developmental challenges to improve the quality of life in the area. Responding to the concerns, MLA assured the residents of his unwavering commitment to resolving their problems. “For the next five years, as your MLA, I am fully dedicated to the development of every section of society, irrespective of caste, colour or religion. My mission is to ensure holistic progress across all corners of my constituency and your trust fuels my determination,” he said.
Dr Rajeev stated that these developmental initiatives would address the longstanding demand of the people of Pandorian, Laswara and Chack Avtara Panchayats by renovation of passenger shed, construction of ladies bathroom, irrigation channels, construction of culvert and lane and drains ensuring a cleaner, healthier living environment impacting both hygiene and the overall quality of life. He underscored the Modi Government’s unwavering commitment to leveraging technology as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation. He highlighted the array of innovative schemes and programmes initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, designed specifically to uplift and empower women from all walks of life.
“The vision of PM for economic development of women through technology is both progressive and empowering’’, he said. The MLA said“ By leveraging digital innovations, we are creating a conducive environment where women can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth trajectory.’’
