JAMMU, Mar 9: MLA Bishnah, Dr Rajeev Kumar Bhagat kick started the macadamization work of 1.5 kilometer long link road at village Purana Putha (Sehora) near Kunjwani. The road will be constructed under the NABARD by the PWD (R&B) Division R S Pura, Sub Division Bishnah.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajeev said with the start of the work, the long pending demand of the villagers has been fulfilled. He said this road will definitely improve the living standard of the area of the surrounding villagers and connecting village Dharap and other adjoining villages with Kunjwani-Bishnah road.
The road will greatly enhance convenience and make travel much easier of every inhabitant of the vicinity, the MLA said while reiterating his commitment to transforming Bishnah constituency into a Model cxonstituency.
The MLA took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of maintaining quality standards. He urged the engineers and officials of the PWD Department to strictly adhere to quality protocols to ensure that the road serves the community for years to come.
Ex-sarpanchs, ex-panchs and other prominent and general public of the area were present in the occasion.
