JAMMU, Feb 22: Rogi Kalyan Samiti of Sub District Hospital (SDH), Nowshera held a meeting, which was chaired by Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nowshera and Vice Chairman, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans Radhay Sham Sharma and attended by Block Medical Officer and members of the committee.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions were held regarding ongoing developmental works and requirements for the improvements, renovations, repairs and facelift of SDH Sunderbani.
The participants also discussed various other issues of SDH Sunderbani including construction of toilet complexes, construction of waiting sheds for patients and attendants and adequate sitting arrangement, construction of doctors/staff quarters, canteen facilities, starting of OPD by AYUSH doctors, foundation stone laying is already sanctioned trauma hospital at Sunderbani.
Sharma in his address issued directions to the Block Medical Officer for maintaining adequate supplies of medicines, especially life saving drugs, anti rabbies vaccines, glucose, drip sets and medikits, proper function of ultra sound machine, maintaining hygienic conditions, discipline and punctuality by the doctors and para medical staff. He stressed for human behavior towards ailing patients.
He also sanctioned new ambulance for SDH Sunderbani out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the convenience of the patients.
