MLA Chenani takes stock of developmental works

UDHAMPUR, Sept 21: MLA Chenani Dina Nath Bhagat today conducted an extensive tour of his constituency and took stock of the pace of developmental works being executed by various agencies under core sectors.
During the tour, the MLA visited Sarsoo, Dhandal, Dhalpar, Dhandal-II, Johnu and Parowa villages of the constituency.
Interacting with the locals, Mr. Bhagat said that the Government was aware about the problems being by the people and effort were afoot to solve these on priority by the present dispensation. He said that efforts are being made to prepare a comprehensive network of road communication so that every nook and corner are connected with the District headquarters.  He said, with this, the people will get easy accessibility, in addition to, promotion of business activities.
Responding to the demands, the MLA announced that a transformer of 63 KVA would be installed at Dhandal-II to cater the need of electricity. He added that more transformers would also be installed in other areas for providing uninterrupted power supply. He also asked the PDD, PHE officers, accompanying him, for providing poles and installation of transformers, supply lines where required.
Referring to repair and renovation of Roun Domail to Dhandal road, Mr Bhagat said that the matter would be taken up with concerned.
En-route, various individuals and deputations met the MLA and apprised him about their developmental needs.
The MLA gave patient hearing and assured that their necessary developmental needs would be fulfilled on priority.
