UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: MLA Chenani- Gordhi, Krishan Chander Bhagat, conducted a tour of his constituency and interacted with people for listening to their demands and grievances.
He visited village Barmeen and Gordhi along with block president Gordhi while several Sarpanchs and Panchs accompanied him.
At Gordhi, the MLA inaugurated J&K Bank branch and four Hand Pumps. He also issued on the spot instructions for solution of the problems and demands such as power, roads and school staff.
The MLA assured that he would ensure official visit of some of the Ministers to Chenani Gordhi constituency so that left out problems are also solved. At Barmeen, Krishan Chander Bhagat visited High School and enquired about staff position there. He also spent some time with students to know problems being faced by them.
The students apprised the MLA of shortage of staff of teachers of Physics, Chemistry and Math following which the latter assured that he would take up the issue with concerned authorities.
The locals complained of no timing of bus service from Udhampur to Gordhi. On the intervention of MLA, the ARTO assured timely bus service from tomorrow.
