REASI, Aug 8: To review the achievements made by various departments and listen to problems of the people in his constituency, MLA Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma convened a joint meeting of officers, Sarpanchs, Panchs of different Panchayats and prominent citizens of Reasi town.
Officers and engineers from different departments including PWD, PHE, PDD, Irrigation, CAPD, Health, RDD, Municipality, Forest, members of PRIs besides prominent citizens of Reasi town were present in the meeting.
The problems and demands put forth by the inhabitants and representatives of the area included repair of roads, new ration depot, construction of lane and drainage, uninterrupted power supply, shortage of drinking water supply, repair of PHE pipeline, sanction of old age pension cases of eligible beneficiaries etc.
After giving patient hearing to the problems and demands of the representatives of the areas, Baldev Sharma issued instructions to the officers concerned to mitigate problems of people. He also asked the PHE Department for necessary repair of main holes, cleanliness of water tanks whenever required.
