DODA, July 5: In his ongoing efforts to deliver public services to the people at their doorsteps in transparent and expedited manner, MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar today laid foundation stone of the Thatri-Barsahalla Link Road.
The 3.5 km road will provide road connectivity to the backward Barsahalla, Bharote, Bhalwana and other areas of Thatri Tehsil and will be completed in two months.
While speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that Coalition Government is determined to translate their commitments into actions and providing the road connectivity to all areas is the first step in this direction.
He informed the gathering that many areas without road connectivity in the district have been identified and soon the work on those projects will be started. He stressed upon the proper maintenance of the existing roads in the district.
Shakti Raj Parihar also interacted with the people and took stock of various infrastructural and developmental needs of the area and directed the administration for appropriate action.
MLA was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Imam Din, XEn R&B besides other officers.
