JAMMU, Oct 16: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today conducted an extensive tour of Main Bazaar Shakti Nagar and interacted with local residents and traders to take a stock of the problems being faced by them.
While inspecting the area, Gupta observed that several iron gratings in the vicinity were badly damaged due to continuous vehicular movement, causing inconvenience and posing a safety risk.
Addressing the issue on spot, he called officials of the Public Works Department and directed them to replace all the damaged gratings at the earliest.
The MLA emphasized that there will be no compromise on resolving civic issues faced by the people and the business community.
“My team and I are here to serve the community and I encourage residents to voice their concerns so that we can work together toward solutions,” he maintained.
The BJP leader assured the people that he will continue to monitor the situation closely and ensured that necessary improvements shall be implemented reinforcing BJP’s commitment for the welfare and development of the Constituency.
Ex-Councillor, Surinder Choudhary, Mandal president, Atul Bakshi and other prominent individuals from the area were also present on the occasion.
