REASI, Aug 8: To review achievements registered by various departments and listen to problems faced by the people in his constituency, MLA Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma convened a joint meeting of officers, Sarpanchs, Panchs of different panchayats and prominent citizens of Reasi town here today.
Officers and engineers from different departments including PWD, PHE, PDD, Irrigation, CAPD, BMO, BDO, Municipality, Rural Development Department, Forest, Sarpanchs and Panchs of different panchayats besides prominent citizens of Reasi town were present in the meeting.
Responding to the demands of the Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent citizens of the town, Baldev Sharma sanctioned four benches to be installed at Bus Stand Reasi out of his CDF. He also sought fresh performa from the Health Department for sanction of funds required for the purchase of new ambulance out of his CDF.
Regarding posting of surgeon in the Hospital, the MLA said that matter will be taken up with the higher ups. He asked EO Municipality to take sample of sub standard tiles work.
He also directed the engineers of RDD, PWD, PMGSY to take all possible steps for the improvement and upgradation of roads and clear the slips lying on the roads. He asked the ZEO Reasi to make arrangements for the posting of teachers for GMS Dassano and new primary school of the same village.
Regarding construction of park at Kalika Mandir, he assured to take up the matter with the concerned department. He also directed the municipality to carry necessary repair of lanes approaching Kalika Mandir and Baba Lal Mohalla at the earliest.
