SAMBA : MLA Samba, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal today inaugurated an awareness campaign on various centrally sponsored schemes here at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Samba. The camp was organized by Directorate of Field Publicity, in collaboration with district administration.
Director, Field Publicity (FP), R.P Saroj, ADC Tilak Raj Sharma, Deputy Director Field Publicity Neha Jalali and District officers from various departments were present on the occasion.
Resource persons from Banks, Social welfare, Health, JKEDI, Education and other departments informed the gathering about the centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by their respective department. They also highlighted the social security schemes and importance of financial inclusion and cashless transactions.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Samba stressed on the need for proper dissemination of information regarding government schemes and exhorted upon the field functionaries of various departments to act as facilitators for effective implementation of these schemes
Director, Field Publicity (FP), R.P Saroj informed about programmes undertaken by department for spreading awareness about welfare schemes of the government.
Later, cultural programmes were also presented by artists of Songs and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
