SAMBA, July 22: To provide better power services to the public, MLA Samba and Former Minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal today inaugurated a newly installed 63 KV transformer and a lane in Ward number-2, Chowadi here.
Locals of the area, BJP leaders, AE and JE PDD were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the MLA said that these areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years.
“So for fulfilling the demands of these people the transformer has been installed to eradicate the power crisis from these areas,” he said adding that funds for the installation of the transformer were sanctioned by the MLA from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The MLA assured the locals of the area that their legitimate demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner.
Those who were present on the occasion included Ex-Sarpanch Asghar Chowdhary, Tola, Panch Naro Ram, Shello Ram, Tilak Raj, Sandeel, Raju and others.
