MLA Kathua holds public meeting

KATHUA, Nov 10: MLA Kathua Charanjit Singh held a public meeting here today and apprised the people of his achievements as MLA during last six years.
Mr Singh said that he will contest elections this time again and seek re-election to State Assembly with the hope that the people of this Assembly segment will give a mandate to him second time on the basis of his performance.
Mr Singh in his address said that despite facing sabotage by some vested elements who wanted that the proposal for the developmental projects should get delayed he got them sanctioned within stipulated time and the work on many projects has been started.
He said it was after his hard efforts that the University campus was established at Kathua. Besides K V was also setup and polytechnic college opened. He said many schools were upgraded and various schemes were under taken during his tenure as MLA.
Mr Singh expressed the hope that on the basis of his performance the people of his Constituency will extend their vote and support to him and ensure his victory at hustings.
