KATHUA, Dec 27: Member Legislative Assembly, Kathua Dr Bharat Bhushan today inaugurated COIR Board stall in the ongoing crafts Bazar in Ram Lila Ground.
The COIR Board under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has displayed a number of coir products in the stall which included coir mattresses, coir compost, coir ornamental pots, decorative items, door mats etc.
Sunita Gupta Manager of COIR Board, Regional Office, Jammu said that the Board is giving special 15% discount on all products and urged the public to avail benefit of rebate by purchasing quality coir products.
MLA Kathua, Dr Bharat Bhushan took a round of the stall and appreciated the efforts of MSME Ministry to popularize coir products. He hoped that the Board will organise more such events in the future so that public can get benefit of coir products which are eco friendly and cost effective.
BJP city Mandal president, Rahul Dev, youth leaders, Akshay Bharti, Devinder Singh, Varun Slathia were present on the occasion. Besides, a good number of buyers also visited the stall during inaugural function.
