KATHUA, Dec 16: Member Legislative Assembly Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan today kick started works of lanes and drains in Kathua amounting to over Rs 31 Lakh.
The Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kathua, Amit Sharma, district president, Mahila Morcha, BJP, Sushma Sharma, president Minority Morcha, Shingara Singh, former Councilor, Vinod Kumar Shinda, Ashok Kumar, JE, Public Works Department, youth leaders, Surekha Jamwal, Amit Sudan, Gourav Gupta, Dogri Poet Thakur Khajur Singh and local residents were present on the locations of Ward No 18, Kabir Nagar and Ward No 12.
The residents appreciated the efforts of MLA Kathua.
MLA in his address asked CEO Municipal Council and PWD officials to ensure quality execution of works. He said with these three works, the works on six lanes and drains has been started in Kathua during last two weeks aggregating to the tune of Rs 62 lakh.
