JAMMU, Jan 3: Member Legislative Assembly Kathua, Dr Bharat Bhushan today met Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo in the Civil Secretariat, Jammu and discussed issues of Additional District Development Commissioners and widening of Changran-Nagri Road.
The MLA apprised Chief Secretary that about six kilometer stretch of Changran-Nagri Road is in dilapidated condition and a detailed project Report for its widening has been submitted to the Govt for its funding under NABARD loan but nothing has been done so far.

Presently, ADDCs are not equipped with proper staff and budgetory support. They have no Revenue Head and face difficulties in regular salary, with the result the tasks assigned to them of extensive touring and monitoring of flagship schemes are hampered.
The Chief Secretary assured to examine these issues.
Later MLA Kathua called on Commissioner/ Secretary, Public Works Department and urged him to take up widening/double laning of Changran- Nagri Road under NABARD. He also stressed the need for construction of two- three bridges over Ravi Canal in Kathua town and upgradation/ double Laning of Magar Khad to Kukey Chak Road and Road from RTIC Store to Housing Colony, Kathua.
