JAMMU, Feb 26: Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta kick started the work of laying of PHE pipes at Chowgan Slathia in ward no.1 today.
The estimated cost of the project is rupees 4.5 lakhs and has been a long pending demand of the people of the ward.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the ocassion said, that he is aware of the impact that this pipeline is going to have on the lives of the people of the area particularly in the summer season.
He said that low pressure and scarcity of water is going to impact us and it is his moral duty to help in improving the water supply in his constituency .
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by AEE Sanjeev Gupta, Anil Sharma HE and senior BJP leaders Purnima Sharma State Manila Morcha President, Karan Singh, Dalip Singh, Ramesh Sharma, Naresh Abrol, Prof. Shyam, Ravi Singh, Madan Singh, Rajesh, Rajinder Gupta, Gopal, Raj Kumar and Tarsem.
