AKHNOOR, Dec 30: MLA Akhnoor, Rajiv Sharma today laid foundation stone of link road under CDF at an estimated cost of Rs 3 lakh at Bhalwal Brahmna of Akhnoor constituency.
It will provide road connectivity to the people of Mohalla Chowkidar and other adjoining houses at the village.
While speaking on this occasion, the BJP MLA said that the Government is committed to provide road connectivity to rural areas of the State. He said his mission is to provide road connectivity to those areas of Akhnoor constituency which are still without any link.
The MLA assured the public that the present Government is determined to translate their commitments into action by providing connectivity to the rural areas and maintaining the condition of already constructed roads.
Sharma also interacted with the people of the areas and listened to their grievances. He assured to address their local issues.
The MLA also announced Rs 5 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for construction of a community hall and a platform.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Pritam Lal, Prithvi Raj, Mohan Lal, Dev Raj, Dimple Sharma and others.
