UDHAMPUR, Apr 14: MLA Udhampur West, Pawan Kumar Gupta today inaugurated two power transformers, each with a capacity of 30 KVA, involving a cost of approximately Rs 10 Lakh.
This initiative aims to upgrade the power supply in the Jib and Kambal Danga localities, benefiting numerous households that have faced frequent power disruptions and low voltage issues for several years.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA assured the public that he would address other longstanding issues faced by the people over the past seven years, particularly during the Lieutenant Governor’s rule.
He emphasized that, following the release of funds for the current year, he would take all necessary steps to improve the sectors of education, water supply and power, which remain his priorities.
The project was prioritized due to the keen interest of the MLA and the pressing demands of the people, conveyed through DDC Ashu Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Shashipal Sharma, Sunil Khajuria and Pankaj Kerni.
The event was attended by Raj Kumari, Shashi Bala, Uttam Singh, Madan Lal and Purshotam.
