RAMBAN, Oct 16: His passion for theatre has failed to stop him from participating in the Ramleela, held at Maitra ground here.
This is not a story of an ordinary man but of a Legislature, who spared his busy time to fulfill his passion for theatres.
The MLA Neelam Langeh as usual participated in the Ramleela, which is being held at Maitra ground as a part of Navratra festival celebrations.
Thousands of people from all walks of life were looking enthusiastic to witness the performance of their local MLA Langeh in the Ramleela, being organized by Rameela Club, Maitra.
Acting as “Goddess Sita” on the stage of ongoing Ramleela, the MLA gave outstanding performance, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
This is for the fifth consecutive time, when he acted as “Goddess Sita” and mesmerized the audience during Ramleela.
Apart from people, SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar and officials of district administration also witnessed the Ramleela and boost the morale of the MLA.
While talking to Excelsior, MLA said that “I am participating in the Ramleela from the past several years and it gives me immense pleasure as with this I continue to remain in connect with the masses at ground level”.
Langeh stated that this year also, the Ramleela Club Maitra headed by its President Ashok Puri approached him to perform in the Ramleela and he could not ignore their request.
I don’t feel shy to participate in the Ramleela as “Goddess Sita” as it gives me the reason to remain connected with the masses, he added.
