RAMBAN, Dec 13: MLA Ramban, Neelam Langeh paid visit to Government Boys Middle School Maitra here today alongwith ZEO Ramban Zubida Parveen and officers of other departments and took stock of its functioning.
During the inspection, MLA expressed displeasure over the pathetic sanitation conditions in and around the school, especially of school kitchen meant for cooking midday meal for the students. He issued instructions to the ZEO for taking appropriate action against the earring staff for showing casual approach towards the vital part of sanitation in the kitchen which is related to the health of students.
He also directed the ZEO to ensure use of LPG for cooking midday meal besides focusing on cleanliness of schools.
Meantime, the MLA also directed the AEE PHE to restore the supply of drinking water to school immediately.
