BILLAWAR, Dec 7: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Billawar, Satish Sharma today kick-started black-topping work on the link road from GHSS Ramkote to Aali hamlet (Morha), Ward No. 6, Panchayat Chinji Makwal in Tehsil Ramkote of district Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that black topping work on this nearly one km road, upto Devsthan of Moudgil Biradari, mostly residing at Chinji, Billawar, Thial, Kathua, Jammu, Udhampur and Ramnagar was pending since a long time.
The BJP MLA also announced to provide Rs 15 lakhs, out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of Biradari community hall at Aali Morha, near Bowli for which the land already stands identified.
He also assured the locals to set up a Veterinary Dispensary/ Hospital at the village.
This road with the cost of Rs 19.40 cr is being constructed by PW(R&B) Department.
AEE, Dinga Amb Sub Division of R&B Division Hiranagar, Vishal Dogra, JE concerned Rohit Khajuria and contractor Akash Sharma were also present on the occasion.
