JAMMU, Mar 18: BJP national secretary and MLA, Dr. Narinder Singh here today started development work of Rs. 1.35 crore in Greater Kailash area.
District BJP president Naresh Singh, Mandal president, Ajay Partap, Jatinder Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Inderjeet Kour and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Singh said that work for the construction of drain and track on both side of road from Fawara Chowk to National Highway in Ward number 68 has been started.
He said that tile work was completed initially which will solve the problem of water logging in nearby areas.
The BJP leader also informed that presently many development works are underway in various Wards including that of blacktopping, construction and repair of lanes and drains etc.
He informed that blacktopping of road in Ward number 55 worth Rs. 17 lakh has also been started.
The MLA further said that realizing the mission of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ of Modi Government, the BJP MLAs are pursuing the development works for the welfare of the residents.
