KATHUA, Apr 5: BJP MLA, Rajiv Jasrotia here today inaugurated road blacktopping work on 6 km stretch from Hamirpur to Gurha Surja in his Jasrota constituency and the project will be completed at an estimated expenditure of Rs. 7 crore.
Addressing a public meeting at Amala, the MLA reiterated his commitment to address the concerns of Jasrota people in a time-bound manner and hailed the efforts of MoS PMO, Dr. Jatinder Singh to boost development in the region.
He said that the road project when completed will have a positive impact on the villages of four Panchayats in improving their connectivity and accessibility and this in turn will lead to various benefits like easy transportation of goods and services, boosting local economies and creating new opportunities for businesses and employment.
The BJP leader also interacted with the public and listened to their issues.
He said the efforts of PM Modi led Government have brought significant developments in J&K impacting various aspects of life across the region.
