JASROTA, Feb 24: MLA Jasrota, Rajiv Jasrotia here today started work on 4 km long road from Palal to Bagora via Karnari, Panchayat Jakhole.
The project will incur an expenditure of Rs. 97 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that good roads are essential for development and prosperity as they facilitate economic growth, job creation and improved connectivity for a better quality of life.
He further said that he will make every possible effort to upgrade the road infrastructure and to ensure overall development of Jasrota constituency.
The MLA promised to provide better civic amenities including safe drinking water, better sewerage, lanes and drains etc to improve the quality of life for the people in the region.
“BJP Government has demonstrated its commitment to develop high-class road infrastructure in rural areas. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana the government has made significant progress in connecting rural habitations through roads,” he maintained.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were BJP Mandal president, Balwant Singh, Sarpanch Shivdev Singh, Randeep Singh Pappi, Vinod Kumar, Lambad Vijay Singh, Jaleel Ahmad, Vimla Devi and others.
