UDHAMPUR, Jan 14: Member Legislative Assembly, Pawan Gupta inaugurated the newly constructed lane of Ward No. 16 of Udhampur City, here.
The function was organized by the people of the ward, wherein they welcomed the MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency by garlanding him and thanking him for the construction of famous lane known as ‘Chowk Chabutra’. On this occasion local speakers Vikas Kyaloo, Anil Pabha, Arun Sahni, Guru Parsad, Radhey Sham Sharma, Manohar Bagira, Ashwani Baigra, Radhey Krishan and Bansi Lal expressed satisfaction for construction work at the lane which was in pathetic condition.
They said that the MLA took no time for initiating the construction work of the lane after their proposal.
On this occasion, Anil Pabha, resident of the locality presented a memento to the contractor Navneet Gupta for quality construction work of the lane.
While addressing the gathering, MLA said that the construction cost of the lane, which is a link between Chabutra and Talab Salliyan, was about Rs 3, 00, 000.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Raj Kumar Bucha, Avinash Kyaloo and Rohit Sethi.
