SRINAGAR: Militants today shot dead security guard of a Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Militants fired at Zahoor Ahmad at Redwani in Kulgam. He and another civilian Zahooor Ahmad were injured. They were removed to hospital where Zahoor Ahmad was declared brought dead.
He was security guard of National Conference MLA Shangus Abdul Majid Larnu. Majid won the assembly elections from Shangus.
