MLAs’ Report Card

Sir,
To publish MLA’s Report Card is  indeed a very good step because it provides the knowledge, information to the voters-general public, political parties and the Government as well about the performance of the MLAs of the respective J&K Legislative Assembly constituencies and for this I appreciate all the correspondents of Daily Excelsior.
As for the MLAs’ Report Card published till today, most of the MLAs have failed to provide  the basic facilities and amenities etc to the people of their respective constituencies as various residents have alleged disparity with them.
The infrastructure, road connectivity, education, health, drinking water, electricity supply and various other developmental works have been neglected as  reported by the MLA Report Card.
To my mind those MLAs who have shown poor, very low performance should not be given mandate for the forthcoming Assembly elections 2014. The political parties must think over it seriously for the development of the State.
The voters must also think over it, and if they will act on it seriously they will surely set right the bad situation for the good governance for the greater good of all the people.
Yours etc…
