JAMMU, Aug 17: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Javed Rana, today visited Government Medical College and Hospital and enquired about the condition of persons, who were injured in unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops in Mendhar sector. Rana demanded immediate compensation for those who have been injured. He expressed concern over non-mentioning of border areas people under Victim Compensation Scheme. He expressed his concerns over tension at LoC and said that there is an urgent need to rebuild the confidence measures between the two countries as the exchange will not lead us anywhere.
