RAJOURI, Sept 22: BJP Rajouri unit here today organised a meeting to review the preparation of upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections.
Various strategies and aspects were discussed in the meeting to launch a well structured campaign in the town.
Speaking in the meeting MLC Vibodh Gupta said that BJP is contesting the ULB elections for the betterment of people.
He expressed hope that they will clean sweep these elections.
He claimed that in last three years Rajouri town has witnessed tremendous development works in all spheres ranging from construction of lanes and drain to circular roads.
He asked the contesting candidates to organise impressive get-togethers and interactions in their respective wards to highlight schemes launched by PM Modi.
Vibodh also flayed NC-PDP for betraying people and hindering elections at the grass-root level to empower common people.
District BJP President, Dinesh Sharma asked contesting candidates to start door to door campaign in order to win people’s heart and trust.
ULB election In-charge, Rajinder Gupta also interacted with the candidates and asked them to further the campaign.
