MLC’s concern over slow pace of work on CU

SRINAGAR, May 18: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) vice president, Gulam Nabi Monga (MLC) has expressed serious concern over the slow pace of construction work on Central University at Ganderbal.
The PCC leader who kick-started membership drive from Central Kashmir (Ganderbal) today expressed his displeasure over the slow pace of work on the Central University being constructed in Ganderbal. He also criticized the Government for not rehabilitating those families whose land has been acquired by the Government for construction of the University.
Terming this attitude of the Government as non-serious, Monga said that people who offered land have been duped and the process of providing jobs to one member of their families remained merely on papers. He also asked the party workers to make membership drive successful.
Senior leaders Shamima Iqbal, Gulam Mohd Ganaie, Haji Ali Mohd Bhat, Aijaz Ahmed and Yousuf Bhat were also present.
