MMPHW delegation calls on ADC

Excelsior Correspondent

KATHUA, Dec 4: A delegation of unemployed youth who have undergone the diploma course in Male Multipurpose Health Worker (MMPHW) met with the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua under the leadership of Ajat Shatru Sharma LYC general secretary and submitted a memorandum to him which was addressed to Health Minister.
The delegation impressed upon the State Government to give employment to the educated youth especially the one who have completed the course of Male Multipurpose Health Worker (MMPHW).
The delegation said that for many years a large number of para medical students have done the diploma course of Male/Female Multipurpose Health Workers from J&K as well as from other neighbouring states. The State Government many times advertised the posts for Multipurpose Health Workers for Females but unfortunately their male counterparts have been ignored which has created a sense of insecurity among them.
They demanded that the youth who are trained as male multipurpose workers be provided jobs at an earliest.
