Srinagar, Dec 31: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department has ordered the transfer of a Medical Officer from Emergency Hospital, Banihal pending inquiry.
“Pending enquiry into the misconduct, Dr Sakib Khan, Medical Officer, Emergency Hospital, Banihal, is hereby transferred and posted at SDH Bhaderwah,” H&ME said in an order.
In this regard, The Director of Health Services, Jammu has been directed to serve a charge sheet to Dr Sakib Khan, Medical Officer “and shall conduct a formal enquiry into the matter and submit the report to the Administrative Department within one month from the date of issue of this order.”
Consequent upon the shifting, the H&ME said that in the interest of administration and patient care, Dr Abdul Rashid Sandhoo, Consultant Pediatrician, Gousia Hospital Khanyar, Srinagar is transferred and posted at Emergency Hospital, Banihal against the vacant post of Consultant MCH.
