JAMMU, Dec 14: Mobile application for Just Call Helpline was launched here today by Ravinder Kaul, president, Rotary Club of Jammu City (RCJC).
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Kaul appreciated the efforts and dedication of the Just Call staff to serve with 24 hrs free information helpline for all since last 18 years. He lauded the leadership capabilities of CEO of Just Call Infotel, Anil Swaraj Gupta, who had started these Free to Use Services for Jammuities in 1998, which was actually an innovation much ahead of its time.
Rahul Sahai, vice chairman, Confederation of Indian Industries and chairman, Sahai Group of Companies, who was the guest of honor, congratulated the entire technical crew of Just Call Infotel for their App launch and hoped that the civil society, industries and businesses would be benefited through this new medium of free information access.
Anil Swaraj Gupta, CEO, Just Call Infotel said “To keep pace with today’s digital revolution and understanding the requirement of today’s tech savvy generation and in order to empower our people with the latest information platform, Just Call Infotel has innovated and created a user friendly free mobile application for all users to facilitate them to retrieve information from our reliable, vast and authentic data bank of J&K.
He further said that under their Corporate Social Responsibility, they have pledged to support Rotary’s service projects on their Mobile app. “A recent Rotary Club of Jammu City project, ‘Rotary Book Bank Mission’, in which Rotarian have decided to collect and distribute free books to poor and needy students shall be supported by us,” he added. Launch presentation was conducted by Aditya Gupta, Amarpreet Singh, Deepak Bhat and Rahul Thappa. A galaxy of other dignitaries including Rakesh Kotwal, Amit Sharma, Jagmit Singh, Tanmit Singh, Adeep Mehta, Robin Mehta, Sanjay Bansal, Sanjiv Vaid, Sandeep Berry, J D Dutta and Harpreet Dutta were also present.
