JAMMU, June 17: Talab Tillo Police solved a mobile snatching case with the arrest of two persons.
As per police sources, on May 27 this year a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Talab Tillo by a person namely Jaspal Singh, son of Suram Singh of District Reasi regarding snatching of his mobile phone near Gole Pulli by two snatchers.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 60/2022 under section 382 IPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Post Talab Tillo led by PSI Rajesh Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Vijay Sharma and DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally nabbed two snatchers, who were identified as Satyam Bhagat, son of Parmod Bhagat of Colonel Colony District and Aryan Sharma.
On their disclosure, 8 mobile phones including the snatched mobile phone were recovered. A bullet motorcycle used to commit the crime has also been seized.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
