‘NC fountainhead of corruption’

RAJOURI, May 16: Senior BJP leader and party general secretary, J&K UT Vibodh Gupta today interacted with beneficiaries of welfare schemes of PM, Narendra Modi led Central Government at Pooling Booth No 59, Shakti Kendra Rajal in Naushera Assembly Segment under ‘Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan’.
He also addressed polling booth Samithi, party workers and senior citizens.
Later talking to media, Vibodh launched a attack on National Conference (NC) for allegedly encouraging corruption in Jammu and Kashmir and said that under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s guidance, a new transparent corruption-free system has been established in the Union Territory in the last three years after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A.
While lambasting NCs involvement in several scams including 113 crores JKCA scam and backdoor appointments in Government jobs in J&K, Gupta said that the dynast politicians and leaders of NC had been looting J&K in the last 70 years. “National Conference is the fountainhead of corruption and ongoing investigations of several scams of NC will bring its top leadership to justice,” he added.
Gupta further alleged NC and its allies for pocketing crores of rupees which were meant for the growth and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Appreciating Modi Government’s efforts to empower youth and to provide employment in J&K Vibodh said that over 30,000 vacant Government jobs have been filled in the last three years in a fair and transparent manner purely on merit basis, while over six lakh youths have been given technical and financial support to become entrepreneurs.
He further said, “There was a time when jobs were sold in Jammu and Kashmir and jobs were given on the recommendations of some influential to blue-eyed candidates. Those days are completely gone. Now, only merit and competence of youth matters in Modi’s Naya Kashmir”.
Speaking on the occasion, Mandal Pardhan Lamberi, Shubham Sharma said that the wide range of schemes initiated by PM Narendra Modi-led Central Government has benefited the general public at large which has ensured Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas Aur Sabka Vishwas.
