Lays foundation stone of Rs 3.61 cr bridge

JAMMU, Dec 13: The quantum of development which the Jammu and Kashmir witnessed under the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led BJP Government at the Centre is unprecedented and what is in offing is also unexpected in many ways.
This was stated by Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC), Jammu district, after laying foundation stone of concrete bridge on Rathua road over Rathua Nallah in Marh constituency with an estimated cost of Rs 3.61 crore under NABARD.
Ch Sukhnandan, senior BJP leader and former Minister and DDC Marh, Balbir Singh were also present. The DDC Chairman said that no previous Government in the country took so much pain as the Modi Government, which changed the scenario as far as development profile is concerned and also the political course.
He said that a lot more is in offing in J&K with development touching new pinnacles and people getting those things which they have not even thought of getting in their dreams.
Bharat Bhushan asserted that the Union Government is working on the agenda of overall development of every nook and corner of the nation with special focus on the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this Government has the full capability and potential of fulfilling all the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The DDC Chairman said that the development in the rural sector has received massive impetus under BJP regime which has resulted in tremendously bridging the gap between rural and urban life. He said that the BJP led Government in the Centre is fully sensitive towards the issues of the people and is taking comprehensive measures for redressal of the same at the earliest.
Bharat Bhushan said it is the result of synchronized efforts of the Union Government and the UT administration that Jammu and Kashmir is today witnessing unprecedented number of developmental projects on ground and that too being carried out at unprecedented pace.
He said that there are a number of developmental projects in the pipeline and these will be translated on ground in the coming time as part of the ongoing era of exceptional development in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.  He appealed to the people to further strengthen the hands of PM Modi for the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation.
