BISHNAH, Apr 10: J&K BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul said that Narendra Modi Government was taking all necessary initiatives to boost and bolster the agricultural economy along with farmers’ welfare schemes.
Accompanied by Kissan Morcha President Omi Khajuria (PM Kissan Scheme Incharge), SC Morcha President Prof Gharu Ram, District President HS Pammi, Satish Pandit, Ghar Singh, Yash Budda, Balbir Kour and other party leaders, he was addressing media persons after participating in several Kissan Labharthi Sammelans in various parts of the region. Main programme in this regard was organized at Trewa Panchayat, Arnia, Bishnah in the leadership of Ashok Koul and Omi Khajuria.
Ashok Koul briefed about the various farmer welfare schemes sponsored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union Government. He said that the schemes and initiatives by the Government like Kissan Sammaan Nidhi, Kissan Credit Card, Kissan Fasal Bima, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), National Agriculture Market (e-NAM), SVAMITVA Yojana, and many more such schemes are providing benefits to every farmer of the Nation.
Koul also said that BJP is observing Smajik Nyay Pakhwada for the 14 days in which every day one event is celebrated and ensured that the benefits of the related scheme or mission reaches the intended population. In the same series, he said that Kissan Labharthi Sammelans are being organized at various places across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Omi Khajuria said that Kissan Labharthi Sammelans are being organized by the Kissan Morcha in all organizational districts in Jammu & Kashmir. Pro-farmer policies of Narendra Modi Government have ensured that farmers are no longer victimized by any agency or any market, he said.
Tarsem Lal, Naresh Kumar, Surinder Bhagat, Choudhary Bishan Lal, Atama Raj, Rajvant Singh Raj, Gurenderjeet Singh, Kashmir Singh and others were amongst the prominent leaders present in the programme.
